Finding Happiness God's Way


Does our happiness matter to God?  Yes!  Through a look at the teachings of Jesus known as the Beatitudes in Matthew 5 we find that God really does care about our happiness.  But what we also discover is that God's way to happiness is down a very different road than we expect.

I Just Want to Be Happy  | 

      
    We often hear people say, "I just want to be happy."  Jesus tapped into that universal desire as he began his public teaching ministry and addressed the question of, "How does a person find happiness?"  Find out how the Beatitudes give insights into what God says about the difference between happiness and blessedness.  (Matthew 5:1,2)

Does God Care If I'm Happy?  |     

    Supreme Happiness is what the Beatitudes are all about.  As Jesus begins his famous "Sermon on the Mount" he communicates passionately about God's interest in our happiness.  He shows how poverty of spirit, genuine sorrow, meekness and hunger for righteousness are ingredients to a lasting happiness that no circumstances of life can fully extinguish. (Matthew 5:3-6)
