Jesus is not opposed to ambition but he does make it clear that whoever wants to be great must become a servant - just as He did.
A House of Prayer

On Palm Sunday Jesus entered Jerusalem as the promised Messiah and King. As King he deserves our praise. But soon afterward he cleansed the temple and declared that it must be a house of prayer for all the nations. As King he demands our obedience. Prayer is a powerful discipline as it serves to provide us with greater perspective in life, a closer walk with God and allows for God's power to be released. .
